Migration Patterns in the US
Warren Meyer brings us this interesting map from United Van Lines of the US showing migration patterns for the states. Note where people are leaving.

United Van Lines provides a lot more detailed figures on its migration statistics. I did a regression of % of UVL moves into a state vs 2004 election results by state. The results are interesting:
