I was inspired by this post and came to me while teaching about price discrimination (specifically the requirement that sellers must be able to separate consumers). People frequently get fake ID's so they can get alcohol when they are underage.
Do folks nearing 55 get fake ID's so they can order off the senior menu at restaurants?
Nah, we don't need fake IDs; all we need is a good head of white hair. Movie tickets are ours...at a discount.
