Hi, I'm a student working on my thesis about the influence of major industry branches on US politics. I was wondering if you could help me out with this issue:
Why is the weapons industry actually such a fierce advocate of the Republican Party? I mean: defence of the realm is a national matter which is not a typical democratic or republican matter, so why does the weapons industry support the Republicans much more than the Democrats then?
Regards, Mauritz
