I received the following from a former student:
While completing my degree I've found myself referencing material learned in your class time and time again. This evening I was working on some international business home work, and I needed a reference for economies of scale and the low hanging fruit principle.
I did a quick Google search hoping to find a quick reference for my bibliography page and imagine my surprise when the top result was your MarketPower Blog. I was more then happy to use it as a reference for my point, and I thought I'd send a quick email to thank you for continuing to blog. I really enjoyed the class and I just wanted tosend a quick note to say that I'm *still* finding the material useful.
As you might guess, that made my week. It's also going to make my tenure material pile.
Here's a previous post about a chance meeting I had several years ago with a former student of my father. That man had been a student of my father's 40 years before and told me about "how that man taught" him "how to think."
