Chaser

Last night around 6:30, a tornado warning was issued for Blue Earth County, the county in which Mankato sits.  The tornadic storm was about 20 miles southeast of where I live, so there was no threat to my house.  So I did what any normal midwestern man would do:  I grabbed my camera, got in my truck, and drove towards the storm.****

I stopped in a residential neighborhood in southeast Mankato where I had a decent view of the bottom of the clouds.  I never saw a tornado, but when I looked right over my head, this is what I saw:

Phil,

Check out the latest post on my blog. http://www.williampolley.com/blog/archives/2005/06/new_weather_res.html

There are some new radar products on the NWS website.

Nice picture. Last summer, I got some video of some pretty cool circulation above my head. I don't know if you read it, but a couple months ago I retold my story of my closest encounter with a tornado.
